How I Found it
Over the last half a decade my interest (and therefore my work) has evolved more and more geared towards "leaving the place better than how we found it", all the way from my journey as a Circular Economy Professional (Cambridge) to becoming a Biomimicry Practitioner. I can't seem to decouple anymore what we do from being part of the biosphere. This inertia has ripple effects on my everyday conversations, and a big thank you to Helen G. for gifting me such a gem and relevant book.
What it Tells me
The biggest difference from other than context coaching and Climate Change coaching, is that this last one deals with the layer of systems. Not just 'can I do it? but 'can we do it?' (this last one similar to Agile coaching at a system level. In Climate Change coaching it is also extending to 'can humanity do it?')
This brings a layer of difficulty which can be most often expressed as Anxiety, Scarcity, Guilt, Overwhelm, Powerless, Hopeless, Numbness, Paralysis, Loneliness, Denial, etc

Making conscious choices on where to invest our energy, and fighting against inertia can be very draining and damaging, every bit of energy is much needed on this quest! Therefore tap into the existing potential to generate and extend momentum.
Data and evidence alone do not change behaviour, else we wouldn't be in the danger zone we found ourselves in.
The book puts very well that a "Shared catastrophe is not a shared experience". Coming also from the understanding that not everyone has had the opportunity to become fully aware of it.
The importance of loving, grieving and hoping. Where we acknowledge these and create the space for these emotions to flourish and be shared with others. So that we can move forward. Without hiding them, isolating from them, feeling shame about them. Not just because this can cause burnout and more, but also because by doing so one is then well on the path to hope. Suppressing our feelings can stop us from functioning and doing the work that needs to be done. Seeing that we are not alone, and the care and deep love from others on this quest. The biggest challenge our species has faced to date.

The question is: Are you willing to be part of the solution?
It's up to us.
Food for Thought
As coaches and practitioners, much of what we do is being change enablers. To unlock potential. To help gain a perspective. Unblock. Enable Change.
I argue: enable evolution! What is a greater and most pressing challenge than sustaining life on Earth? To promote sustainable development, to be able to maintain a constant pace indefinitely.
Sustainable. Joyful. Purposeful.
