I've gone a bit crazy on book reviews lately, but only for good? books that do something well.
This book is all about following your bliss and delegating everything else to automation or outsourcers.? The central process is just three steps:
1 ) Optimize - Break everything down into bitesize tasks anyone can do,? dump the unnecessary element or tasks, and optimize what remains for efficiency.
I already have my own version of this and am continuously refining it. I feel like I've got this part nailed. If you haven't, this section might be exactly what you've been looking for.?
2 ) Automate - Now set everything up an app or computer can do better faster and easier so you do ONLY the minimum necessary manually, after it's set up.
Here's where I probably need the most help.? The tyranny of choice, too many choices makes finding the best apps software or saas an overwhelming task.? This book makes specific recommendations and how they use each.? While the book was written in 2016ish most or all of the same apps are still around and popular today.
The other stumbling block for myself is that with each piece of software takes time to learn, set up and apply each automation.? This in itself is an opportunity I and many others would likely pay someone to do.? I would already be far more automated if I knew how,? which is why I have relationships with those who do;-)

3 ) Outsource - Whatever remains,? that isn't in your bliss, or zone of unique talents. If you don;t love doing it, or don't do it well, outsource it.? This book mainly focuses on this. And is what's the MOST valuable to me.? I know how to break down tasks so far that a dumb monkey could do them. And I can teach them how to do so each very effectively.? But I don't yet have enough income to outsource every single thing except the very few things, only I can, or want to do.
This book documents how the two authors created the ideal outsourcing service business THEY wanted for themselves after a major payer in that space went bust. This is exactly where I want my business to go. I'll do ONLY the training, consulting, product design elements I thrive at, and outsource everything else so I can go nomad...digitally speaking;-)
This book gives a clear outline of the steps and some of the details of how to move from doing everything to doing MUCH less of what you'd rather not. If you haven't been dreaming of, and working toward automation and outsourcing for years as I have,? this is a great place to get started.? BTW, if you have Audible Plus or whatever the Kindle equivalent is ( for those of you who haven't discovered the superior productivity of listening over read ;-)... this book is free with your plus membership;-)
