Big news…I wrote a book!

As a child I wanted to be two things when I grew up: a teacher and an author. I was (and still am) an avid reader and was enthralled by Laura Ingalls Wilder series of novels based on her pioneer life. She inspired my six year old self to start a diary that lasted for over two decades. 

In many ways, I feel like I was meant to write a book. Yet, the fact that I did it is surprising. For starters, I’m beyond middle age – and outside of a meager doc of book titles and ideas, I haven’t taken any meaningful steps. It’s always been one of those things I’ll eventually get to…maybe.

My business partner, Mai, and I are firm believers in investing in ourselves. We’ve worked with many coaches over the years. At first, I had trepidation because it felt too big – something I wasn’t ready for. Imposter syndrome also kicked in and a small part of me questioned whether I was good enough to write a book.
