Book planning retreat, anyone?

Has anyone else needed a personal break before settling into 2024?

Early this month I took 24 hours away to soothe a few frayed edges in solitude, and it was the best tonic I could have taken. Just 35 minutes from where we live north of Brisbane is the Mercure Clear Mountain Lodge , set alone on the mountain, with views north to the Glasshouse Mountains,?east to the ocean with Moreton Island on the horizon, and overlooking vast bushland and Lake Samsonvale in the distance. It was such a quiet location that the wind in the treetops just outside my room provided the meditative effect I needed.??

That venue is also a fantastic location for retreats and workshops, because it comes with conference facilities, accommodation, restaurant, and a day spa on site. Just park the car for a couple of days and relax - large pool and tennis court included.?

While there I was inspired by the idea of running a?small book-planning retreat for a couple of days, with women who crave the time and space for that in their lives (non-fiction or memoir/self-help).?
