The book men asked me to write

Over the past two years, MEN repeatedly asked me why the companies they work for and people like me spend so much time developing women, teaching them to work more effectively with men, but hardly any effort teaching men how to work more effectively with women?

They told me that even though they work with or for women now, they feel ill equipped to work optimally with them. They told me they will need to hire more women to fill their talent needs in the future but aren't sure the best ways to achieve that. Some men voiced concerns that in the #MeToo era they feel confused and uncertain even in common workplace interactions with women.

I wrote WE: Men, Women, and the Decisive Formula for Winning at Work (released Sept. 25, Wiley Publishing) for these good guys, and for managers and leaders like you, who want to create, and work in, a fair and inclusive environment.

In his foreword for WE, Dominic Barton, global managing director emeritus of McKinsey & Company, called the book “a subtle gem” and the playbook for business leaders who want to change the workplace.

WE is about how men and women win at work by working and leading together. It's FULL of the specific actions that you can take to recruit, retain, work effectively, advance and lead with women.

If you are like the savvy leaders who asked me to write WE and you want to elevate your success in the new work environment, pre-order it on Amazon or here at Wiley where you can get a 30% pre-order discount with the code WMWD9.

Please tag other success-minded managers and leaders you know. You can also learn more at TheWayWoMenWork.com. Thanks for reading, and I look forward to your thoughts!
