Selling books is really hard! But a focus on bulk sales can help. Consider the below as you build your bulk sales strategy.?

  • Identify incentives that will compel your audience and fit with their needs and interests.
  • Be creative! Look for unique incentives to offer.
  • Make sure your offers will scale, as you don’t want to overpromise your time or extend your budget too far.?
  • Use bulk sales as a negotiation tool for closing a keynote or other speaking engagement.
  • Don’t be afraid to ask! Many authors sell thousands of books to clients of their consulting practices.
  • Create marketing materials specific to your bulk offers, including a landing page or flyer.

Becky Robinson, Founder & CEO

Becky has spent almost 13 years supporting authors with their book launches, offering strategic book marketing guidance that creates the best outcomes. She’s also an avid runner (we’re talking many marathons), mom (nearly an empty nester), wife, and dark chocolate fan.?
