This book is fantastic!

The book Architecting ASP.NET Core Applications by Carl-Hugo Marcotte is fantastic, you start reading and you don′t see time pass.

I really liked the way the subjects were approached and how they evolved throughout the reading.

Reading it caught my attention because as a developer, these are subjects that interest me a lot and some points are controversial, so the way the book addresses these points ends up leaving the idea that not everything has to be black and white. It depends on the problem I want to deal with and the environment I am in, how I will apply a certain pattern, often aware that it will not be possible to fully apply the pattern after all, as it says in the book, it is a pattern and not a law.

In fact, the content covered in the book is a journey to learn to think. He starts the subject and encourages you to think and evolve on the subject. At times he makes you laugh, for example when he talks about God Class. It reminded me of some projects I've been through, no one wanted to put their hand there and every time someone moved to solve a problem, two or three others were created, it was more like a gremlin, water couldn't fall or it would multiply.

So the writer shows in a simple way that it is possible to apply design patterns to correct problems like these.

I'm still reading my copy, but I can assure you that it's a very interesting and rewarding read, in fact I would say transformative.
