The Book: The Black Cats of Amherst

The Book: The Black Cats of Amherst

Last September I started the research on a book about my grandfather's World War I ambulance unit. I am happy to announce that I have completed that book. It is called The Black Cats of Amherst and is now available through Lulu.com. I'd like to thank everyone who helped me in this process. It has been a fantastic journey.

This weekend I will be talking about the Black Cats on a reunion panel at Amherst College. I will have copies of my book there plus a fun promotional sticker (see below).

I would also like to call attention to the banner restoration project I spoke about in an earlier post. We've made great progress raising money to restore this historic banner, but we still have more work to do. If you are interested in donating to this cause, please contact me and I will send you details. Additional Black Cat research updates can be found on the Black Cats of Amherst web site.
