Book on 'BaulOlogy'

A Most Heartening News That I Want to Share With All Of You:

A great achievement by the reputed publishing house of India having branches in different metro cities of the country – Allied Publishers Pvt Ltd of Noida who publish all my English books!!

In just a little less than 2 (two) months’ time they have transformed my manuscript on: ‘The Bauls & Fakirs of West Bengal, India & Bangladesh’, into a beautiful zero-error book with glossy a cover. The entire credit for this remarkable work must go to Jagdish Singh of Allied’s Editorial Department who manages all my English book projects. In my writing & publishing career, I’ve worked with many publishers in English & Bengali, but I’m yet to come across such sincerity and dedication as I’ve observed in Mr Singh.

The book is titled as:

(Introducing ‘BaulOlogy’)

The speciality of the book is that it deals with the bio-medical, psychological, and management aspects of the songs, lifestyle, cultural rituals, and philosophy of the Bauls & Fakirs of West Bengal, India & Bangladesh, which no other learned researchers from West Bengal, Bangladesh & First World countries like USA, Europe, Canada, Australia & New Zealand have covered. Their coverages are limited to the: historical, anthropological, sociological & religious perspectives. I feel I’ve made a unique contribution in the study of the Bauls & Fakirs and that is why I have coined the term ‘BaulOlogy’. My Bengali book on ‘BaulOlogy’ is also in press with a reputed Bengali publishing house of Kolkata.

A very special feature of my book is its front cover which has been designed by my very dear multi-talented friend Andy J Peters of Manchester, UK. A self-taught artist & painter, Andy has his own signature style for which at a very young age he has earned a name in his own country in artwork & photography.

My book is now available, WORLDWIDE, in different formats. My publishers have informed me only yesterday evening that its e-book form is available from Google Play. You can get it from Amazon, online and also from Flipkart in other formats, internationally.
