A Book For All Seasons…plus a twist in the tail
At this time of huge disruption to business and personal lives, and as people develop significantly different routines, I sense from the conversations that I am having that many folk are carving out time for reflection re business life post-Covid. If this includes you, then I would like to share with you a few ways in which I believe I could be of assistance.
Firstly, I have written 4 books on different aspects of transition. In brief:
· “From Crew to Captain” addresses the challenge of leaving a big, or bigger institution, and setting up your own business.
· “A Privateer’s Tale” looks at the same transition, but is specifically for people looking to set up as sole practitioner consultants or similar.
· “Commander of the Fleet” is for people who have proved to themselves and the market that their business model works, and who are trying to figure out how to take it to the next level and create something with potential for sustainable profitable growth.
· “Changing Tack” considers how you make the transition from full-time working to semi-retirement (which is becoming an increasingly popular option) with eyes wide open.
And so for the twist in the tail….
For several years I have been running a workshop on the topic of “Adaptive Selling Techniques”, which has principally helped people who find the concept of having to sell daunting or scary. In a half-day they can learn to appreciate how they can be more comfortable converting more prospects and winning more businesses from existing clients. This requirement is a “golden thread” running through all 4 books (even “Changing Tack”!) i.e. the need to sell and feel ok about it. It has now been successfully launched as an e-leaning session.
If any of the above areas strike a chord, then please feel free to take a deeper dive in the attached note. All the books are available in eBook format, so you have 5 options open to you.
Finally, if you purchase any of the books, or register for the online training, you are welcome to take up an offer of one hour’s free telephone consultancy.
Over to you!
David
