Bonkers but brilliant!

Bonkers but brilliant!

Bonkers but brilliant is the best way I can describe last week!? Having had a very quiet April, May is making up for it with lots of great discovery calls and events.? On Tuesday I attended Nailing the Tale with Libraries Unlimited where we were taught about the art of storytelling, and on Wednesday I met up with Lesley from Hedgerow Marketing who kindly helped me articulate our brand values.

Maddy has now stepped away from the business and is concentrating on studying for her exams which are coming up, and we are looking forward to having her back in June. Good luck Maddy!

In the meantime, Katie and I are still beavering away, and we are (almost, very nearly) there!

The brand is now a living, breathing thing and is starting to make its way into the world!?

Two milestones were reached last week 1) I signed off the branding and 2) I had the first of two photoshoots.??

The clock is now ticking down to the BIG reveal.

In my world

Getting involved ...

whether you like it or not!? Last weekend saw us attending a kids party with THE best entertainer who kept the kids engaged for the whole two hours, and got parents involved too.? I drew the short straw when I got picked for this game!

Tip for the week

This week's tip is around rebranding and the lessons I have learned.? If you are thinking of changing your name or branding, a project plan is essential.? As we had an end date (launch date)?in mind, we've been able to make sure that everyone involved knows what these dates are - from our brand designer, website designer, IT support?and photographer to each member of our team.? We've used our project management tool,?Avaza, to capture as many ideas and things we need to do as possible, so that once we have our mits on the brand assets, we can really get going.? We'd be happy to put this plan into a shareable format if you would find it useful if you also have a rebrand on the horizon.??

Lifestyle Tips

How far will you go to protect your boundaries?

Smartphones help us run so many aspects of our lives now, and we'd find it hard to be without them - but they can be very?invasive and distracting, and prevent us from truly 'switching 'off'.??To combat this, some people are shunning them for at least parts of their day and returning to an old classic. And the?Nokia 3210 is back!?Did you have one of these 'back in the day? Do you think you could go old school?
