Bonding your team with Virtual Reality
Welcome to our present days. Nothing compares to what it was before, everything is continuously changing. A company means one team working together the most important part of the day, trying to do better their tasks and all is needed to achieve their goals.
Everything is good till now. We all agree that is the image we should see it everywhere where people is working together, but like always, there is something what can ruin in an instance this picture. That can happen because we're different and we respond different to the same things.
OK, will be your answer, there's nothing's new in that. We all agree to that, but this variety can bring us hard moments in our teams without knowing what's dividing us. We will never be on the same side of the barricade, we will have different opinions and different expectations. Also the chemistry expected to be built within the company can't be positive every time.
That's the reality we need to deal with. In the most part of the cases that may be harmless, but sometimes can affect us seriously. This situation must be avoided with any costs because it can appear especially when we are at a crossroad. In this situation having a strong team, sharing the same ideas, is strongly recommended.
But how can we prevent the team to be split, how can we stop our colleagues to leave the company when we face hard times? Until these days this task was quite impossible to achieve, because we had no reliable tools to help us doing that.
Starting with the arrival of Virtual Reality technology we built some appliances aiming to help us evaluate our team. I mean here how close to a burn out are some of us, how many of the team are lacking of interest in what is happening, how many of them want to leave because their place is no longer here and why. These are crucial answers needed by everybody. The good news is we can get them now easily using this software solution called Aquarium, who can help us defuse all potential harmful situations.
It will help us in reassigning the tasks, moving people from one team to another, allowing them to express, help them to build a natural network, in a word defusing all potential bombs existing in our company.
Aquarium is a special test done in VR for assessing the attention, the working memory, impulsiveness, the competences for multitasking, team working abilities and many more.
The whole test is supervised via internet by a server who count every move or any gesture the subject do according to the VR scenario. The subject is submerged in a special environment where specific distractors can appear during the period in which the subject must execute the required tasks.
After the test is done, the supervisor (recruiter, trainer, psychologist) will receive via internet a complete rapport about the tested subject. The report is well detailed and the specialist can conclude easily about the performances obtained by its subject.
Everything is extremely easy to be done, anybody having a specific training can do it. That's why we recommend it to any recruiting company, to any internal HR department or to any psychological clinic.
