The Bond

“Bond” is a word that defines many parts of our being, even our very essence. We are conceived and developed in our Mother’s womb, which would be the first bond.
But this bonding dynamic does not end here; it extends throughout our lifetime in all the processes that are part of our growth and reproduction. We talk then of affective bonds with our parents, siblings, friends, significant other, etc. It is also an academic bond with our professors, colleagues, and institutions and transcends the work environment.
It is natural and is a process of our evolution; however, it is necessary to emphasize two points to consider; there is a vast difference between bonding and dependence.
Bonding makes us part of something without distorting our essence. When we talk about dependency, it is whatever prevents me from moving forward; I remain in a state of insecurity and disbelief, needing external approval to continue.

In this order of ideas, the relationship with this being called Mother, who represents love, patience, care, protection, and tolerance, among many others, must be linked but not dependent, and we say this in a double sense, that is, mother-child and child-mother.
Mother is also a being, a truth; they are essence from the day they are born and do not stop being essence to become Mother, just as we do not leave our essence to become a professional, artist, etc. We are a true essence, and that essence must remain throughout our life regardless of the situation, the costume, the job, or the occupation.
Let’s remember that in every moment of our lives, we are permanently bonded to something; when we breathe, we are bonded to Mother Earth; when we take advice from our Mother, we are bonded to her through the wisdom she shares with us; when we dress, we are bonded to the tailor or dressmaker who designs the outfit we wear.
A Mother means lots of kindnesses, but above all, they are the best example that we can be without stopping being, and today in #TQM, we invite you to bond with your loved one and with everything that surrounds you so that you can receive and give from your being.
