Hello and welcome to the latest edition of our newsletter - Bold Ambition.
June was a busy month for the Ambition PR team, and we’ve got lots to update you on! We saw the launch of three brilliant books, we attended some great events and we shared our top tips to maximise the reach of a PR campaign. In this newsletter, you’ll also find our thoughts on the next big thing in Social Media, and of course our monthly PR tip.

This month was a busy one for the team!
Fay and Hayley Vincent attended the Bookseller Marketing and Publicity Conference, and here’s what Fay had to say about their day:
“Had a fantastic time spent at the Bookseller Marketing and Publicity Conference on Monday, meeting some new faces and hearing from the industry’s best.?
There were some fantastic case studies, practical campaign advice and thought-provoking panels on how to take your books even further, but the stand-out take-aways have to include:?
? The art of recognising when TikTok trends will (or will not) work for your book?
? Some fascinating insights into how much fandom and user-generated-content can shape a campaign
? Thinking creatively about what publicity looks like beyond traditional media coverage
? How to best brief authors for media appearances
Sometimes you just need to hear how other people do it, and there was no shortage of brilliant stories shared throughout the day.”
Angelika Szpregiel and Steve Pantelli attended the TravelTech Show to support our client Joyned - a SaaS solution for travel websites that enables users to book together, taking the group booking experience to the next level through collaboration.
Doron Luder , Vice President of Sales at Joyned, had been asked to hold a conference session about a major development in the travel industry, so Angie and Steve were so pleased to be able to see him speak live! In his speech he explored the phenomenon of social commerce in travel, how it is set to revolutionise the travel industry, and discussed how to connect inspiration to booking.
The whole day was a great opportunity for us to catch up with the team at Joyned, and learn more about what's new in the world of TravelTech!
And finally, Hannah Cary and Katy Orr attended Leadership Live 2023, supporting Rameez Kaleem of 3R Strategy and Judith Germain as they delivered workshops at the event.
They also were lucky enough to have a stand at the event, and got to catch up with industry contacts and meet new people.
A day full of inspirational and insightful takeaways from all the keynote speakers and workshop leaders!
It’s always a pleasure for our team members to attend these great events, meet people face to face and gain insights that we can then bring back to our work here at Ambition PR!

Article - The Next Big Thing in Social Media
As PR professionals, we like to keep a close eye on trends and the next big things, but it can be hard to keep up sometimes with all the constant changes, especially in the fast-moving industry of social media.
Whilst we can’t predict what news stories and developments will make the headlines next, there are a number of trends and innovations that we think are likely to shape the social media landscape in the second half of 2023 - this article covers the things we’ll be keeping a close eye on.

World Environment Day
#WorldEnvironmentDay took place in June, and although this year’s focus was on beating plastic pollution, it is always an important opportunity to drive worldwide awareness of ALL the actions we need to take to protect our environment.

If you wouldn’t buy into the content you’ve crafted, then you can be certain the client, the media or the general public won’t either. Trust your instinct and if you’re questioning whether it’s ready for team/client approval, give it another go.”
