BOK [Book of Knowledge] of Ted Talk

BOK [Book of Knowledge] of Ted Talk

For the first time, content with 'nothing' but so profound. With today's talk, you will surely appreciate human intelligence - the way we can articulate a concept with so much ease, humor, and details of what is being shared by sharing 'nothing'.

I see this Ted X Talk, as a straightforward book of knowledge that one can follow if we are looking for pace, tone, and building the talk/ if we wish to deliver in the future.

It's just over 5-minute talk but still grabbed my attention and would like to share it. Here are my notes on my takeaway from this talk.

Like every conversation, Ted X Talk is also a series or sets of communication styles used for delivering the intended message. It's nothing less or more than the way we code for our app to work and execute for the output.

'Me Buying Time' is the exact point that we wanted from the audience/ people in the room. Here's a list of frameworks to articulate any talk:

  1. Initiate with what would be the outcome of the discussion.
  2. Build a story around, why this topic is important to share.
  3. Tell people why they should listen to you.
  4. The tone in which the opening is being delivered.
  5. Engage the audience by asking questions.
  6. Bring relevant people and numbers to the discussion.
  7. Build the argument to bring the body of the talk.
  8. Utilize and build a dramatic delivery tone while building the bridge between the opening and the closing.

It seems my writeup would be bigger than the talk, but to emphasize, no words can explain the talk delivered by Will Stephen Year 2015 talk so do spend 5 minutes of your busy schedule for a 100% laugh, 100% takeaway & 100% value that we can use in our business conversations.

Looking forward to some of your comments, feedback, and takeaways from the Ted X Talk, or watch the talk for some information byte.
