The project is aiming to create a soil microbiome that can suppress take-all in wheat, by characterising soils across the country and identifying suppressive qualities. For this they are collecting soil and wheat samples from currently sown wheat fields across the UK.?They are doing this by sending out self sample kits to farmers or by field visits from the team to their farm, at no cost to the farmer.?To get involved contact [email protected].
