Boat Show cancellations
Carrie Stocker
I connect senior yacht crew and professionals with suppliers via Yachting Pages. Across the Med, USA, Caribbean, and APAC. I help clients reach their audience through targeted print, digital, and direct marketing.
I’m sure we are all united in our disappointment at the cancellation of major boat shows this year, but few would argue with the decisions given the importance of protecting exhibitors, visitors and staff at each show. The organisers of each boat show – Monaco Yacht Show, Cannes Yachting Festival, METS, Palm Beach International Boat Show, Palma International Boat Show – worked hard to deliver their respective events, however the threats of the pandemic have obviously proven too difficult to overcome this year.
It’s important we now channel our support and energy towards boat show season in 2021, when we will all (hopefully) be able to reunite once again!
