February was a busy month for executive and non-executive changes, with several organisations making quick changes at the CEO level and renewing boards. Our firm continues to see a few clear hiring trends for executive and non-executive positions including:

• Ongoing focus around sourcing technology expertise to support cloud, DevOps, digital transformation, security and privacy, AI, automation, system upgrades, data integration, and analytics projects and programs.
• High demand for experienced risk and compliance executives driven by steady regulatory requirements across financial services and increased scrutiny on greenwashing, anti-money laundering, RG97 reporting, and stronger guidelines under the Financial Accountability Regime.
• Continued efforts around diverse and inclusive hiring. While 35 percent of executive appointments across the S&P/ASX300 in 2023 were women, 35 percent were women.?(Source: OpenDirector )?
