BMW Warranty scam

Please be aware that although you might have complet cover for your ABS system and complete cover for your drive shaft, WHEN not IF the driveshaft becomes rusty (as you would expect, just like break disks, suspension parts etc i.e all none protected steel) the rust on drive shaft causes the ABS sensor ring to buckle (due to inferior material and design) then you have to replace the entire driveshaft at a cost of ￡1,100 because of the clause in the general section which states its doesnt cover for parts damaged by corrosion.

It is INEVITABLE that this ring will fail, its not maintainable, protected or robust, causing the failure of a perfectly good part, the drive shaft will last ten times longer than this ABS ring.

I have been waiting nearly 12 months (21st November 2017) and my car is still of the road. I received three letters from BMW Assured Warranty head office saying they were looking into the matter, each one saying they have not come to a resolution and still looking into the matter, the last letter I received was the end of Jan 2018

Please SHARE as this is the only way BMW will own up to a design fault and do the right thing rather than pass this defect onto the unsuspecting owners
