This October, Broadcast Management Group, Inc. was contracted by Al Jazeera Media Network , the most significant news network in the Middle East and North African region, to produce a dynamic five-part town hall series focused on the United States Presidential Election. With events held in Los Angeles, Dallas, Chicago, and Dearborn, MI, our team expertly managed everything from set design and lighting to video production and logistics, leading a team of over 150 people.

Celebrating 7 Years of the 1st Financial OTT Network

This month marks the first anniversary of the Schwab Network , formerly the TD Ameritrade Network, for 6 years, and we're proud to reflect on our integral role in its journey. Since its inception, BMG, working with the Schwab management team, has provided the creative, production, engineering, and operational management backbone for this first-of-its-kind financial OTT network, delivering live, market-moving content that empowers investors with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions.

BMG designed and built the Schwab Network’s Chicago broadcast center and its studio on the floor of the NYSE. The network is fully connected to the BMG Cloud Control Center? for enhanced technical support and disaster recovery. The majority of the staff operates from the Chicago facility, with additional personnel stationed at BMG’s locations in New York City, Washington, DC, and Las Vegas. Over the years, we’ve supported the Schwab Network in setting a new standard in financial media, helping it achieve approximately 2 million views per month across all platforms. Our team has been instrumental in producing a diverse range of programming, from Morning Trade Live, Trading 360, and Fast Market to the recently launched Market Overtime, which features exclusive interviews with industry leaders.

As the network continues to expand its offerings, including an on-demand digital service, BMG remains committed to providing our full suite of managed services that enable the Schwab Network to deliver insightful financial coverage anytime, anywhere.

A Milestone Season: Celebrating 5 Years with the Silver Knights

October marked the beginning of the fifth consecutive season of our sports packaging division, producing home games for the Henderson Silver Knights . As our Sports Division prepares for another action-packed season, our team remains committed to showcasing the Silver Knights' passion and talent. Colgate-Palmolive Corporate Event

This month, BMG had the privilege of producing a significant corporate event for Colgate-Palmolive at their global technology campus in New Jersey. Utilizing a state-of-the-art flight pack, our VP of Engineering System Design and a team of 13 worked diligently to ensure a seamless and engaging experience for all attendees.

College Football Powered by REMI

It was another exciting month of college football as BMG produced two CFB games for ESPN : Louisiana Tech at Sam Houston in Huntsville, TX, and South Dakota at South Dakota State in Brookings, SD. These events were made possible by our advanced REMI capabilities and Mobile Units utilizing the Cloud Control Center?. This workflow allowed us to use top talent nationwide, with the producer and director for each game working from home while our replay operators worked from our facilities in NYC and DC.

With the recent growth of our DC operations, we’re looking to expand our DC-based freelance network. We're specifically seeking TDs with experience on Grass Valley Kayenne switchers, as well as Directors, Producers, 3-Play Operators, Xpression Operators, and A-1s in these three markets.

Looking to November

November is set to be another action-packed month for BMG! Our sports division will produce multiple home games for the Henderson Silver Knights. Additionally, we’re gearing up for the 3-day coverage of the Weigel, IHSA Football Tournament, ESPN football, and the WMAR Turkey Bowl while maintaining our commitment to college football coverage.? On the operational side, we’re hard at work on Phase 2 of our Network Operations Center at the Washington Broadcast Center, with our team nearing completion of a new state-of-the-art control room and master control room.
