BMA House New Team in 2017

BMA House, a central London venue, is starting 2017 by welcoming five new people to their events and hospitality team.

Rebecca Hurley, Events Marketing Manager at BMA House comments: “We had an excellent year in 2016 with our sales increasing by 16% from 2015. Our new team, with its collective wealth of experience, will enable us to grow and improve BMA House as a venue and the service that we offer.”

Ampersand, new in-house caterer at BMA House, has appointed Richard Hope as General Manager of the venue. Joining from The Royal College of Surgeons, Richard has a flair for customer service supported by his BA in Hotel Management and wide ranging experience with hotels and busy commercial venues.

Richard will be supported by Jonathan Reynolds, Deputy General Manager. With a career in hospitality spanning over 20 years, Jonathan has a focus on fine dining and a passion for customer service. Jonathan is well accustomed to serving a variety of famous faces including The Queen, Princess Diana and Margaret Thatcher.

Joining the in-house events team at BMA House as Sales and Events Planner is Kat Davies. Previously at Old Billingsgate with a diploma in Event Management, Kat will be working alongside Alice Roberts, another new team member who has taken on the role of Events Administrator, following her graduation from Oxford Brookes University.

Gordon McCartney, Head Chef for the venue has also been re-appointed by Ampersand. With an extensive London catering background including The Mermaid Theatre and Tower of London, he inspires his team with his culinary talents and is bringing a wealth of knowledge to the role.

BMA House is a Grade II listed venue located in Bloomsbury offering a range of 29 spaces for meetings and conferences for up to 294 and weddings and private events. This includes two magnificent outdoor areas - the Courtyard and the beautiful Garden, all within easy walking distance of both Euston and Kings Cross stations.
