The Blunder: What Happened at Our LinkedIn Audio Event

Hey, y'all! I hope you're doing well!

I want to address the recent LinkedIn audio event. I've received a few dozen emails and haven't been able to respond to everyone, so I figured this would be the appropriate forum.

Some of you were really mad, and I get it. I was just as upset as many of you.

To be honest, I was really disappointed. It was deeply disappointing, to say the least. I had been looking forward to this event for quite some time. I'll tell you the story of why this was such a big deal to me personally in a future newsletter edition.

Okay, on to what happened and what I'm going to do to fix it.

We had an overwhelming response with over 41,000 people interested in attending our audio event that was purposefully put together for introverts who need support with public speaking.

I gave introverts a tool to use and also shared 3 Introverted Communication Secrets that attendees could immediately use to start their journey on becoming confident and charismatic speakers during meetings, interviews, and presentations.

There are secrets, and unfortunately, I cannot share them here, but I promise you (introverts) already have these secrets. We just need to learn how to implore them. HAHA!

Okay, so 40k people signed up! I was so pumped because that means there's an opportunity to help introverts who have a fear of public speaking! That's cool, right?

Unfortunately, the platform only allowed 300 participants, which meant many of you couldn't join live. Even my wife couldn't get in.

I guess we broke LinkedIn. HAHA!

I understand how disappointing this was, especially with the anticipation around me opening up our waitlist for our popular program that supports introverts in gaining the courage to speak confidently in meetings, interviews, and presentations.

Again, I do not take this lightly. I am truly sorry for the inconvenience.
