Bluestone Mines Tasmania Emergency Response Training

Bluestone Mines Tasmania Emergency Response Training

At BMTJV, Renison Mine we are committed to:

Being aware of the site risks of the operation

Proactively managing the risks of the operation.

Our aim is to maintain a high level of emergency preparedness that will mitigate site risks to personnel, the environment, and the community.

The Emergency Response Team (ERT) is vital in BMTJV maintaining the ability to provide an appropriate response in an emergency.

The BMTJV ERT is made up of team members from across the business.

Our team consists of professional and enthusiastic volunteers who are ready to respond to an emergency, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

ERT training is held every 2nd month in 2-day blocks.

We are presently running a 14-day introductory “Rookie” course for six new ERT members.

?????????????Establish and run a Fresh Air Base
