Justice-Involved Initiative

The Justice-Involved Initiative team at BluePath Health helps clients launch behavioral health linkages and prepare readiness assessments for pre-release services. Based on our experience with correctional facilities, managed care plans, and community-based organizations, BluePath Health also offers an off-the-shelf TA Marketplace solution to support Justice-Involved project management and implementation. Two Major Deadlines in Round 3 of the CA DHCS Justice-Involved Initiative:

• Behavioral health links between correctional facility providers and community-based providers for incarcerated individuals must be operational in all California counties by October 1, 2024. Learn more.
• County correctional facilities can start pre-release services on October 1, 2024, if their readiness assessment is approved by DHCS. Assessments must be submitted 6 months before the go-live date. All county facilities must implement pre-release services by September 30, 2026. Learn more.

BluePath Health’s Marin 9 to 25 is proud to announce that Sammy Lee, youth co-chair, has won the prestigious Intern of the Year award for the County of Marin. The Board of Supervisors honored him and other volunteers at a June 6 ceremony. Sammy’s leadership founded the "Find Your Way" youth wellness campaign, helping high school students through printed and digital resource guides. We wish Sammy continued success in college.
