Bluebook Wednesday, September Newsletter

Happy September!
I took August off from the weekly posts due to travel. Even though there aren't tips to review, I thought it would be fun (and perhaps useful to those who are new here) to review all of the prior BBW tips.
If you are a new law student and wondering what the Bluebook really is, welcome. You will learn soon enough, and I hope BBW can be a resource for you.
If you are a new clerk, congratulations. You have one of the jobs where the Bluebook really matters. (Of course, I think it always does.)
If you are a new attorney, welcome. Don't throw your Bluebook away just because you're done with law school. It still matters.
A library of most of the prior BBW tips can be found on the LegalEase Citations blog here . In addition, I've listed each of the tips below so you can browse and perhaps find the one you're looking for.

2 个月Right back at ya, Melanie! Last night, someone at a lawyer event thought he recognized me as the person who makes Bluebook Wednesday posts. I corrected the record, but I will accept that comparison any day! ??

2 个月Your posts are great and I truly enjoy reading them. Keep in mind, however, that paralegals refer to the BBW, as well. At least us old timers do.
