Bluebook Wednesday, July Newsletter

Happy July!

It's one of my favorite months since it's my birthday month. (Who else has a birthday this month?) Work also tends to be quieter this time of year while people are on vacation.

June was a great month. I hit 10,000 followers on LinkedIn, which is still shocking. And I took an incredible vacation to Hawaii. I hope everyone's summer is similarly off to a great start.

There weren't any Bluebook Wednesday tips in June due to my work travel and vacation, but we'll be back this month. If you have any burning Bluebook questions, please send them my way for a future tip.

Also, I'd love to hear from any law students who recently participated in law review write-on competitions and used Bluebook Wednesday as a resource.

To ensure there is at least some Bluebook content, here's a quick reminder of some basics:

• Use the Bluepages for practical legal documents. Use the Whitepages for academic pieces and to supplement the Bluepages as needed.
• Do not abbreviate case names in-text except for the universally abbreviated 8 words.
• Do not use "available at" before a URL.
