I'm overwhelmed to discover my painting "Bluebird Sky Walden Pond" to be the opening image of 24 images chosen to be presented in the YouTube video about this show. I am inspired to create nature inspired art by my faith that God created heavens, earth, minerals, plants, animals, and gave man dominion over all. The purpose of my life is to share my gift of communication through art to encourage others to value and preserve the beauty of our planet. Bluebird Sky Walden Pond depicts a perfectly glorious day at a wildlife preserve and bird habitat near my home where I enjoy plein air painting and sketching.?www.solleroriginals.com

In Colorado the bluebird sky is that undescribably clear blue when there is no haze or smoke in the atmosphere. I encountered this breathtaking sky and its reflections in the pond on a perfect day when I went plein air painting. This painting is done from photos I took that day along with a small color study.
