?? Nicoya, Guanacaste, Costa Rica, has an area of 134.92 square kilometers, a population: 8,325, and is home to one of the world's rare Blue Zones, where residents enjoy longer, healthier lives. Blue zones are regions where people exhibit remarkable vitality and longevity, attributed to factors such as a plant-based diet, strong community bonds, and regular physical activity. In this serene setting, visitors have the opportunity to experience the benefits of these blue zones firsthand.

Carazo Arquitectura was commissioned to design of a luxury hospitality project located in this stunning Blue Zone. The architecture in this unique project is designed with Biophilia in mind, incorporating natural elements to create a harmonious connection with the environment. Biophilic design aims to enhance well-being by integrating aspects of nature into the built environment, such as natural light, green spaces, and organic materials. The design idea is for the guests can immerse themselves in spaces that promote relaxation, creativity, and a sense of rejuvenation, all while surrounded by the lush beauty of Nosara and indulge in the benefits of a Blue Zone.

A unique user experience that goes beyond traditional hospitality. From yoga classes in open-air studios to farm-to-table dining experiences featuring fresh, local ingredients, visitors are encouraged to engage with their surroundings in a meaningful way. The combination of blue zone benefits, Biophilic architecture, and immersive user experiences makes these hotels in Nosara, Nicoya, a truly exceptional destination for those seeking wellness, connection, and rejuvenation.

For this hospitality project, designing spaces in a conscious way can influence the perception of our emotions, thoughts, and behaviors was the priority. Variables such as lighting, textures, sounds and colors affect or benefit our brain and therefore our mood.

The creation of an experience through the eye of the beholder, the perception of a three of a one-of-kind luxury destination. Perception through nature and centrality, an aim of life to synchronize the rhythm of your heartbeat with the pulsating energy of the universe, aligning your inner essence with the grandeur of the natural world around you. It is about finding harmony between your individual nature and the vast expanse of Nature itself. In this alignment, there is a sense of unity and interconnectedness that transcends the boundaries of the self, allowing you to resonate with the universal flow of existence. It is a profound journey of self-discovery and connection with the broader cosmos, where you seek to find your place within the intricate tapestry of life. Perception through stillness and infinity, where the most profound awakening occurs when you become aware of the vastness of nature's infinite beauty. Perception through earth and wholeness, one way to gain a profound understanding of the Universe is by embracing a respectful connection with the natural world, particularly the earth and forest wilderness. ?? The project: One Unique Location, Three different experiences. Perception Oasis, a nature, social-interaction, beach-life; Perception Horizon, pause, contemplate, and relax; Perception Origin, a place for self-knowledge, meditation, and personal-growth. The design is born from the sensations perceived from each place. Its architecture and design respond to the site’s stimuli so that users can perceive different sensations in each of the locations.

Oasis is located in one of the principal beach towns between Nosara and Guiones. Hotel Oasis Perception is situated in front of one of the main thoroughfares in Guiones Norte. Its location offers the perfect place to experience the nature and cultural exchange of a Costa Rican Beach town. Surfing & Water Sports, Restaurant & Social spots. Lounge & Bars, Coworking Zones are the base of the activities for Oasis.

Horizon, located in one of the properties with ocean view and within minutes walking distance of the beach. The landscape where Horizon Perception is situated provides privileged views to the ocean and the sky. Its location offers the perfect place to experience a calm and relaxing stance. Ocean Views, Nature Views, Relaxing Areas, Lounge & Restaurants, are showcased in Horizon. ??????

Located in San Juanillo Mountains. Origin Perception is designed as a space for meditation, introspection and self-knowledge for people seeking a holistic experience surrounded by mountains, ocean breeze and nature. Introspective Spaces, Meditation Zones, Yoga Decks, Farming & Agriculture, will be part of Origin.? ??♀?
