Blue Needs You – A Heartfelt Plea to Give This Loving Dog the Forever Home He Deserves

When life gives us lemons, some of us make lemonade to share with friends. That’s Blue’s story. This big-hearted, goofy boy has been making the best of shelter life since October 2022. Despite being adored by everyone who meets him, Blue is still waiting for his forever family. Loved by volunteers, and visitors alike, he’s truly one of everyone's favorite. Yet, here he is… still waiting. Now, Blue needs you to change his story. He’s currently in Santa Barbara, CA, but we have volunteers who will drive him to the right fit or even contribute to a plane ticket to help him meet the perfect family.

Blue isn't just loved by one person – he has five passionate advocates who care deeply about him! Hal, his primary advocate, along with Sally, Clay, Manuel, and Janelle, have all fallen head over heels for this incredible dog. Each of them is rooting for Blue, cheering him on every day, and working tirelessly to help him find the loving home he deserves. With time, patience, and love from the shelter staff and volunteers, Blue transformed into the sweet, goofy dog we know today. Despite his past, Blue has never lost his love for life or his hope for a family to call his own. All he wants is to belong to his person.
