Dreams are so strange to dream about the devil & God are rare especially God; but if you see a devil, recall few days back the dreams can't come out of blue; to dream about devil first u might had a conversation about it, or heard about it, or so a movie about it, any clue can try that dream; but as usual how do u respond in your dream the devil was friendly or scarely.
Most time he creates fear; so if u see a devil it means there is something or a problem but it's psychological problem that threatening u, be it's not physical in brief you are coward at that moment. You have seen the devil in your dream. This means you are a threat to him. He has many faces and changes. But your spirit knows who he is. Be strong he is powerless over you unless you become afraid of him. Tell him to go away l need nothing from you. For he comes to rob a and steal your honour. But you are stronger and he is afraid of you as you believe in God. This is a very interesting question and shows that you are either a religious person or have an interest in spirituality and concepts of good and evil. If you dreamt of the Devil, then you would have recognized the Devil’s presence as something powerful, dark and enticing. According to Christianity, the Devil offers temptation to a life of materialistic pleasure if you turn away from God and goodness.
It is not so simple these days with technology and globalisation. I think that your dream indicates that you are at a point in your life where you want to make a choice. This choice could be about your goals in life, the person you want to be, the beliefs you want to hold. If you were resisting the Devil in your dream then perhaps you are being wrongly influenced by people around you, or the media you watch, or the thoughts that you think. Maybe some members of your peer group have chosen paths that are not in sync with your own inner beliefs and you should stop hanging around them. Maybe you have watched some horror movies and have become fascinated by evil. This is all in the realm of the mind and spirit, and people have to live in the everyday physical world. But the choices you make for your mind do influence your physical life.
A book "More than a Dream" discusses nightmares of abusive people who are close to us, as well as the entire scope of dream studies. I dreamed that I was shooting Satan he looked like a regular man nice looking. I knew that the man was very evil so I began to shoot him , But no matter how many bullets a shot of him…. I couldn't defeat him alone … I know this means that I was trying to do everything by myself without God or Jesus. I had this dream twice. I told God that I was sorry for my sin that looked so nice looking (just like Satan).
Then those dreams stopped. I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. The truth is I kept in doing that sin until God sent me another dream he told me to trust him he put a flame on my hair and told me not to blow it out until he told me, so I did.He gave me a signal and I blew it out. I looked at my hair and it was not even scorched. That is an allusion to Bible, And the first chapters of Daniel ( The fiery furnace ) I am overcoming sin with God helping me along the way.

A few nights ago I had this dream where I started having coffee with this really cool guy. I didnt know who he was but he was really nice and we had a great conversation. Once we finished our coffee, he had to leave. So I asked "Whats your name?" and he said "Im Satan" and I laughed. He laughed too. What does it mean? It means that you believe in Satan to begin with. Then that you were thinking consciously or unconsciously about Satan. And also that you associate cool nice guys at coffee shops with sin, and that sin attracts you. Relax. Satan is a myth and sin is a human notion. Don't be afraid to be attracted to cool mysterious guys in coffee shops.
The Arabic equivalent of the word Satan is Shaitan (?????, from the root ??n ???). The word itself is an adjective (meaning "astray" or "distant", sometimes translated as "devil") that can be applied to both man ("al-ins", ?????) and al-jinn (????), but it is also used in reference to Satan in particular. in the book of Job, the hero laments his 'satan' which means 'any adversary.' The word Lucifer meant Bearer of Light and in ancient times, was the name of Venus, the star that rose as the Morning or Evening Star. Lucifer is used only once in the book of Isaiah when he describes “Lucifer who has fallen.” Isaiah was writing about an historical and prideful Babylonian king, Tiglath Pilesar III. He used the word Lucifer to compare this arrogant king to the planet Venus, when it boldly rose before the sun in the morning.
As the Morning Star, Lucifer or Venus was always viewed as an imposter of the sun. Because of mistranslations, we have a mythical symbol that gives us permission to remain victims. Yet, our dreams reveal how light always overcomes darkness and in the end, the hero is redeemed when the monsters (transformation barriers) are vanquished. Meeting a devil or satan character is a common Archetype explored in dreaming. One can have unconscious associations with the devil because it can represent a type of power within that is unexpressed and appears frightening or disturbing. This power is usually associated with all the wonderful things that were viewed as making us different from others, and were therefore repressed. Resurrecting this part of our natural vitality and power is important in helping us to actualize our destiny.
The devil can wear the mask of the critical tapes of conscience that would prefer we do right and not rock the boat of conformity. Joseph Campbell called this area "thou shalt" in his wonderful work on how myths can guide us to actualize our purpose. Like dreaming, the hero undergoing initiation will first discover the clues that will reveal one's true identity. Like any good story, just when it seems the hero is home free, the monster appears to scare the hero back into a fearful world of seeking only acceptance.
In dreams, we are the hero who must slay the dragon or monsters as the powerful symbols of claiming our rightful power. Dreams are like the mythical tales of mortals who confront frightening giants and beasts to succeed - only by doing so are we worthy of our destiny. By confronting one's deepest fears, we discover the magical elixir that releases us from our shackles and misunderstandings. In fact, it is common when one is going through a type of transformation that includes honesty and self-examination that these type of Shadow dreams come forward. Confronting fear and transforming it into self-actualization is a necessary part of the hero's journey of individuation. Cheers!
