Blue Cross Volunteer

Last night I went to a great quiz night organised by a very dedicated Blue Cross Ipswich volunteer called Chris Baum. I was so pleased to hear that his employer 111 are matching the funds raised too. I'm pleased to say Gallagher would do the same when our people organise events. It just made me think how much charities rely on their wonderful volunteers and what an inspiration they are. I take my hat off to you all especially if like Chris you have a full-time job as well as doing lots of volunteering hours. I know the ADCH recognises such activities but I wonder sometimes how much recognition this army of 'workers' receive? Anyway thanks again to Chris for a well run and fun quiz!
