Blown Away, Impressed, Entertained and Moved!

Last night was the Best of SOA. As you know I continue to recognize the outstanding discoveries I find in the region. I thought I would stop by Butler Tech School of the Arts to check out what they were featuring as the best performances of the year. What a wonderful surprise! I rocked to rap, rock and sultry soul music, I was moved by dance and overall was incredibly impressed by the quality of the performances.  I was entertained and left wanting more of the same. My hats off to the 100% student production as they delivered with passion, enthusiasm and talent. I had no idea what an incredible resources existed in downtown Hamilton. I was shocked the show was free-I would gladly have paid to see this caliber of entertainment!  This region continues to amaze me with all that is has to offer both in diversity and quality. Moving to this area from the East Coast, I thought I would be giving up many things but what I am finding is I was very much mistaken. The Cincinnati Region offers so much but one of the biggest gems is Hamilton. The culture in Hamilton is vibrant, diverse and engaging. Once more, I made another discovery, real talent in the teens in the Hamilton area! I recommend you check out future performances and by the way, the live jazz in the art exhibition following the performances was worth coming out on a cold night! Overall, Butler Tech billed this show as the top performances  of the year at the school, I think it was some of the best of the entire region!
