Blow your mind: Tips on How to give the world a chance - Host!

As time passes by in USA, I've made a few true friends back in my Maryland days and explored different nuances of the Hospitality Industry across the country. I had the chance to live in Maryland, Vermont, New York, California. The most challenging part of moving to any city has always been finding good Housing.

I would like to share with my network the idea about Become a Host for International Students, please see below a few companies in the USA that can assist you in the process: The USA Department of State Offers Hosting Volunteer Opportunities, visit the Commonly Asked Questions for further details.

New York City has offered me the chance to Host students of different backgrounds Japan, Saudi Arabia, Colombia, India, Korea, Russia, Brazil, Jordan, Italy. As an International Education Advocate, I have been exposed to quiet a few cultures in the past and that has immensely helped me in better understanding the expectations from a Host. I have always tried to make a difference while Hosting and provide the best possible assistance to all youngsters.

Every time I hosted an International Student, it opened my mind to their part of the world and the opportunities that exist out there, which makes me want to travel and explore even more.

There are many different programs, rules and nuances but more important, there are people that desire life changing experiences. To learn more about my journey abroad visit: Confessions of a Global Citizen.

If you want to be part of the global community, please visit Institute of International Education and help the American Students be the next #GenerationStudyAbroad.
