Blooom Farm Singapore

Blooom Farm Singapore

Blooom Singapore is a local vertical farm founded by Shengjie BAO 鲍晟杰 that produces a wide variety of crops, such as Japanese mustard spinach, cherry tomatoes, and of course, strawberries.

The strawberries at Blooom are the result of selective cross-breeding to create a strain of strawberries that can grow in tropical climates. These strawberries come in three different varieties: red, white, and even pink, each offering distinctive levels of sweetness and juiciness.

By using biological science, technology and AI,?the company had developed?an efficient yet sustainable way to cultivate crops.

Less Land

Traditional farms require large plots of land that is unfeasible for urban areas as cost of land increases.

Technologically assisted vertical farms offer over 20 times the crop yield per square foot.

Less water

Traditional farms today rely heavily on fresh water irrigation as climate change affects rainfall.

As 95% less water is used in our vertical farms, fresh water can be redirected to other areas of life where it is necessary.

All year round

Seasonal bearing fruits like strawberries are grown in colder regions like the alps of China and Japan and are typically available for a few months a year.

Indoor-grown variant are cultivated all year round in tropical climates with stupendous efficiency and quality.
