Day One - Opportunities in Orbit?
As agriculture becomes agritech, finance becomes fintech, education becomes edtech and automobiles become truly “auto”, the resulting explosion in data use will mean more satellites in orbit — a lot more. But satellites are not what they once were. Recent advances can now deliver immense value in terms of enhanced data generation and computing power, accelerated communication speeds, and increased bandwidth. Companies across the industry spectrum are already looking to these and other zero-G developments to drive innovation and efficiency in their earthbound products and services, with an expected revenue of at least $1.4 trillion by 2030. The Space Revolution - the next, most obvious trillion-dollar marketplace.
Tomorrow’s disruptive space tech will be largely driven by commercial forces at the crossroads of connectivity, mobility, data and the need to find new resources to support sustainability — paving the way towards an exciting era of transformation and fresh investment paradigms. This year’s event will draw on the insights of some of the sharpest and most innovative minds shaping this new space race.
Peter Beck will deliver the keynote address themed ‘Making Space for Everyone’. Day Two - Creating a Legacy Through Philanthropy
As Asia’s wealth continues to grow, so too does charitable giving by its wealthy. Second-generation philanthropists are redefining their family legacies and new billionaires are emerging with equal commitment. Meanwhile, Asian and international family offices in the region are focusing on the importance of shared purpose as a way to strengthen family ties and foster continuity across generations. These individuals and organizations now possess an unprecedented opportunity to work collaboratively — and more effectively — with the region’s philanthropic infrastructure to set goals and formulate strategy, build social capital, measure progress and outcomes, share best practices, and harness the power of data to maximize impact. Over the next decade, the result will be explosive growth in networking for good — and in the creation of innovative solutions to our biggest social problems.
