I participate in a panel discussion at the last Bloomberg Next event on Workplace Shift: Preparing Leaders for the Future of Work.

The topic of the panel was Assessing the Seat At The Table: The Rising Role of HR Leaders

We tackled some really interesting questions on critical trends happening in the workplace, such as:

• The workplace has shifted tremendously but the way companies handle HR has failed to keep pace. Why is that?
• We talk about how the relationship between employer and employee shifted from being transactional to reciprocal. Give examples, and how has your workplace adapted?
• We hear HR managers talk about creating an environment where you can bring your whole self to work. At what point does this become counterproductive?
