Bloom Works launches new Allegheny County analytics website

??We are proud to announce the launch of a new Allegheny County Analytics website, a tool designed for researchers and the general public to access data and research about Allegheny County public services and systems.

Bloom Works was awarded a spot on the Allegheny County Design, Content and Digital Strategy vendor pool in late 2021. This open data website development project was awarded as a task order in November of the same year. Bloom created a new user-friendly and responsive website in partnership with the Allegheny County Department of Human Services (DHS) Office of Analytics, Technology and Planning (ATP) and the Office of Equity and Engagement (OEE). Bloom Works is energized by the OEE mission to support policy development, quality improvement, planning and decision-making through research, analysis and engagement.

The new analytics site contains web stories, maps, open data sets and more with the goal of improving quality and advancing equity. “We are excited to partner with Allegheny County, a national leader in data science, predictive modeling and information collaboration to deliver an analytics site that empowers Allegheny residents with the ability to analyze and understand government services,” said Jeff Maher, Bloom Works Director of Engineering.

The site launched in May of 2022.
