But... what is the spring equinox?
It's the date when days start getting longer, snow starts melting, trees will grow new leaves, and spring starts making its way!
As you may know, Ecuador is located right on the Earth's equator, which is why we are not lucky enough to experience the beauty of seasons.
On the other hand, this gives Ecuador one of the world’s most stable weathers, with constant sunlight, allowing us to provide you with the best fresh-cut roses year-round. As of 2020, our country produced around 3.8 billion stems, and 68% corresponded to roses.
Of course, Ponte Tresa's roses are no exception!
Our three farms are located in the Andean highlands at 2,850 meters above sea level, close to the Cayambe volcano and the beautiful San Pablo Lake, where we grow long stems, intense colors, bright foliage, and long-lasting and ideal opening roses.
