If your latest article (and blog traffic) is only going to survive the latest and greatest Google HCU update, measure up to the newest E-E-A-T guidelines and, possibly, get featured in Google SGE or Google Discover, it has to answer the following questions:

  • Does the content demonstrate first-hand experience?
  • Does the content demonstrate in-the-field experience?
  • How well does the content share a personal experience, perspective, or feelings on a topic?
  • How well does the content speak from a first-person perspective?
  • Does content also demonstrate that it was produced with some degree of experience, such as actual use of a product, having actually visited a place, or communicating what a person experienced?
  • How original is the content?
  • How helpful is the content?
  • How much effort was put into this content?
  • Does this content demonstrate a depth of expertise for this topic?

In the current, and increasingly AI-content driven world, we're moving into a time when being authentic is a USP.

Your brand voice and understanding of who your customers are, is crucial!
