Blogging Basics
Another important thing on your website is to have some specialty pages. Specialty pages are about drilling into the specialties that you do. You want to build these out a little bit more than just a blog post. You probably want them to be 1500 words. An example of a specialty page might be that you help people dealing with anxiety. So, you might have a header one (bigger font) where it says ‘Symptoms Of Anxiety’, and then you talk about a lot of the symptoms people deal with. And then, ‘Types Of Treatments For Anxiety’ and then you go through that. Then, ‘What We Know About Family And Anxiety’, etc. And so, it becomes a sort of authoritative post that talks deeply about your specific specialty. This does a number of things: in your area no one is probably doing that, so it really makes you stand out in Google. But, also, it'll really help people and will give you pillar posts that you can link together throughout, as you blog more and more. That's going to, again, help you rank in Google.
