As the world continues to digitize at a rapid pace, artificial intelligence (AI) is quickly becoming a critical component of many businesses. And while we've seen AI used in a variety of industries, from healthcare to finance, the first truly large-scale deployment of AI is happening right now in the business world.

One of the key drivers behind this trend is the availability of data. With more and more companies collecting and storing vast amounts of data, there is now a rich foundation for AI to build upon. This data is being used to train algorithms, allowing them to make more accurate predictions and decisions.

However, simply having access to data is not enough. In order to truly succeed with AI in the enterprise, there are three key areas that companies must focus on:

  1. Asking the right questions first: Before embarking on any AI project, it's crucial to ask the right questions. What problem are we trying to solve? How will AI help us achieve this? By clearly defining the problem and the desired outcome, companies can ensure that they are using AI in a way that truly adds value to their business.
  2. Building a foundation of data: As mentioned above, having access to large amounts of data is essential for training and refining AI algorithms. But it's not just about the quantity of data - the quality is also important. Companies must ensure that the data they are using is accurate, relevant, and up-to-date.
  3. Building a robust governance mechanism: AI is a complex technology, and it's important to have a clear governance framework in place to ensure that it is being used ethically and responsibly. This includes defining roles and responsibilities, setting clear guidelines and policies, and regularly reviewing and updating these processes.

Overall, the first truly large-scale deployment of AI in the business world is a significant milestone. By focusing on building a foundation of data, asking the right questions first, and implementing a robust governance mechanism, companies can maximize the value of AI and drive success in the enterprise.

Awesome!! It's great at answering open ended questions and keeps bettering its responses mimicking human learning. One alarming prediction that it would spell doom for school Home Work, students and parents hard pressed of time may use it too often to their detriment.
