This module contains five different units, in which 1 has a quiz and 4 has hands-on exercises. So let's see these units one by one.
Unit 1- Introduction to Reports and Dashboards in Lightning Experience
To clear the quiz in this unit, all that you need to know is -
NOTE- Now before starting the hands-on exercises from the next unit, create a new trailhead playground for this module
Unit 2- Create Reports with a Report Builder
In this module, we need to create a report that shows all web leads. The report should be as explained below-
Report Name: Web Leads
Report Type: Leads
Standard Filters:
Fields: Lead Owner, Lead Source, and Rating
Field Filter: [Lead Source: Web]
To complete this hands-on exercise, you need to follow the given steps.
Step 1- Click on App Launcher and select the Reports Tab, or click on the Sales app and then click on Reports Tab.
Step 2- Click on the "New Report" button and then choose the "Leads" report type from the "Choose Report Type" modal and click the "Continue" button.
Step 3- Turn on the toggle button "Update Preview Automatically." Though this step is optional, it is beneficial to preview the effect of current settings.
Step 4- From the columns section on the left, remove all those fields you don't want to appear on the report. Keep only those fields mentioned in the challenge and remove the rest. As per the challenge, we need to have these three fields only- Lead Owner, Lead Source, and Rating.
Step- 5 From the filters section on the left side of the screen, choose the Create Date filter and choose its range as "All Time."
Step-6 From the same filters section, add a new filter for the Lead Source field and mention "Web" as the value for this field.
And that's it in this exercise, and generally, we rarely get any blocker in this unit, but there is still one minor mistake that we commit, i.e., testing the challenge without saving the report. This is because the challenge asks us to give a name to a report, for which saving the report is essential. Hence before checking this challenge, make sure that you have already saved the report with the name "Web Leads."
Unit 3- Format Reports
In this unit, we have to create a report (Summary Report) in which records will be shown by categorizing them into groups. We'll continue this unit in the same Trailhead Playground built in the previous unit. The Summary report should have the following characteristics.
Report Name: Case Status
Report Type: Cases
Standard Filters:
Group by: Status
Please follow the given steps to complete this unit and overcome the blockers.
Step 1- Open the Reports Tab as mentioned in the previous unit.
Step 2- Click on the "New Report" button, Select the Cases report type and click on the Continue button.
Step 3- From the "Columns" under the outline section, close the fields that are not required for this report. For example, we need only Case Owner, Subject, and Account Name fields.
Step 4- Make sure in the Filters section the range should be All Time for the Opened Date field as shown below.
Step 5- Now, from the Outline section, under the Groups option, choose the status field to group the report with the Status field.
Now it will show the summary report as like below-
Save the report with the specified name in the Challenge and Check the challenge. Hurray! We cleared the 3rd unit as well. So let's move on to the fourth one.

Unit 4- Visualize Your Data with the Lightning Dashboard Builder
As the name suggests, we are not only going to create a new Report in this unit, but we are also going to create a new dashboard here. So let's begin…
For completing the challenge in this unit, you have to create a Report and a Dashboard with the following characteristics.

The first part of it is pretty simple, and we have already discussed that in the previous unit itself.
For creating a dashboard, please follow the given steps.
Step 1- Just like you have opened the Reports tab, in the same way, we can open a Dashboard tab as well.
Step 2- From the Dashboard tab, click on the "New Dashboard" button; in the "New Dashboard" modal, give the Dashboard's name and click on create.
Step 3- Once you're on the Dashboard Builder field, click on the component button to add a new component in the modal.
Step 4- From the select report, click on the "Opportunity Stage" option and click select.
Step 5- Select the "Display as" option as "Donut Chart."
Step 6- Scroll down and verify that the Chart Title is "Opportunity Stages."
And that's it. Yes, we have completed this unit as well. We usually commit common mistakes here are not setting the chart's title and selecting the wrong report type.
And that's how we completed our fourth unit of the module, and now we are ready to tackle the last unit and earn that badge.
Unit 5- Extend Your Reporting Strategy
In this unit, we have to install a package and then copy a Dashboard from an existing dashboard provided by the installed package. If you face any issue in Installing a Package, you can go through?this link.
NOTE: Make sure to use the same Trailhead Playground that you have created for this module.
For installing the package-
It will take some time, and then it will show a screen as shown below if it gets installed successfully. It will also send you mail on your registered email id about the installation success.
We need to clone a Dashboard from one of the dashboards installed with the package. We will clone the "1-Account, Contact & Opportunity Data Quality" Dashboard. For cloning a new dashboard from this Dashboard, please follow the given steps-
Step 1- Open the Dashboard tabs, either directly or from the Sales app.
Step 2- Click on the All Dashboards options on the left panel and click on the "1-Account, Contact & Opportunity Data Quality" Dashboard.
Step 3- From the quick actions for the Dashboard, click on the button menu and then click on save to create a clone of the Dashboard.
Step 4- Provide the name given in the cloned Dashboard challenge in the Save As modal and click on Create.
Step 5- Click on the Edit quick Action and confirm the edit in the given confirmation modal.
Step 6- Click on the "Filter" button to add a filter to the Dashboard.
Step 7- From the Add Filter modal, choose "Billing City" as the Filter Field and provide "San Francisco" as the value for the filter and click Apply, and then click on the "Add" button.
Step 8- Click on save & done and now check the challenge.
Congratulations! on attaining a new Badge.
