Blocked on LinkedIn for hateful speech. What is hateful speech?

I ran into an interesting (and shocking!) post on LinkedIn Joop Soesan (https://www.dhirubhai.net/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7191659461223075840?updateEntityUrn=urn%3Ali%3Afs_feedUpdate%3A%28V2%2Curn%3Ali%3Aactivity%3A7191659461223075840%29) in which a video of a ‘Palestinian’ man who visited Auschwitz was shown in which he publicly calls on Jews to return 'where they belong' (meaning Auschwitz). As the man pointed the camera past the site of the camp, he continued, "God willing, we will be free of you [Jews], and you will all return to the concentration camps."

?I reacted to this and I posted the following on LinkedIn:

"Palestinians" are an invention of the Egyptian terrorist Yasser Arafat who created them in 1964. They share with him the rich culture of systematically murdering innocent civilians, as terrorists' do.

Palestinian genealogies show that their own tribes, originating from outside the Southern Levant, are evidence of Arab colonialism. They are united in their collective hatred of Jews. If that unifying factor were not there, they would kill each other.

Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat, claimed: "I am the proud son of the Canaanites who were there 5,500 years before Joshua bin Nun burned the city of Jericho." However, his real family lineage can be traced to the Huwaitat tribe, who migrated from Arabia to Jordan. Hamas Minister Fathi Hammad's rare admission that "half of the Palestinians are Egyptians and the other half are Saudis" is more honest.

In short, what this 'Pally' in Auschwitz is talking about is something that Jews in Israel experience every day. It will only stop when Israel is sovereign over the entire area west of the Jordan River, as described and legally established in the British Mandate for Palestine in 1922.

I was blocked for 48 hours, (which happens to me quite often) and is also appreciated with all of a sudden an oasis of rest.

I protested of course, but still LinkedIn insisted that my post was regarded as hateful speech. In order to get some clarification, I asked in an email:?

“I received a message that my post appears to contain hateful speech. Still, there ?are no arguments?represented. This is most disturbing. What is hateful??

  • That terrorists tend to murder innocent civilians? It is a fact, easily checked. They do that also in Europe and the US. Shall we all honour them as martyrs, or should we condemn this?rich culture? I am not allowed to target the group called terrorists? They are a threat?to the free West!?
  • 'Palestine' was never a country, reigned by Palestinian rulers. Easily to be checked. When a country never existed it can not be targeted?too.
  • That Yasser Arafat is an Egyptian terrorist? A fact, easily checked as well.?He is a dead target now anyway.
  • ?That Palestinians as a peoplehood were invented by him? Easily to be checked. In official documents before 1964, they were referred to as Arabs. They shared the same language and culture with all the?Arabs in the area. How can a peoplehood, that is in fact not a peoplehood with a language and culture of their own, be a target? The target in itself is an illusion, which to many people in the west take as a truthful narrative. A narrative that cost the EU a lot of tax money?too!
  • ?That the genealogies of the 'Palestinians' prove that they came from all neighboring?territories? A fact, easily checked as well.
  • ?That Erakat's claim that he descended?from the Kananites?is difficult to match with him being descended from the Huwaitat tribe, who migrated from Arabia to Jordan. Also this can be checked.

If this is hateful speech ?another definition might be used by LinkedIn. As a Dutch citizen?I am entitled to know the reason why the committee?thinks this is hateful speech. I desperately need to hear arguments instead of a decision.? I am sure the legal department can provide me with these arguments.”

?LinkedIn responded:

I understand that our decision might cause some discontent.?However I can assure you that the criteria used is aligned with the policies outlined on the LinkedIn User's Agreement and Professional Community Policies.? At this point, we feel that we've provided you with all the relevant information in regards to your inquiry.?While we understand that you may remain unsatisfied, we have addressed this issue thoroughly and consider this issue closed. Further questions about the same topic might not be answered.?

Case closed?

I ran into this post; which is an example of antisemitism : https://www.dhirubhai.net/posts/davood-kalantari-194a59200_a-message-to-all-jews-o-true-jews-o-activity-7195680474181079040-quuD?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop I reported it and I am curious how LinkedIn will respond. As I expected, my report was declined. Probably more people complained and the post is deleted! Great, thank you LinkedIn
