BLK & Bold Celebrates Five Years In The Industry With A Night of Comedy, Charity and Culture

In celebration of BLK & Bold’s five year anniversary, the first Black-owned and nationally distributed coffee brand will host a comedy night in partnership with Teehee’s Comedy Club?

Des Moines, IA – BLK & Bold, the first Black-owned nationally distributed coffee brand, is excited to announce its upcoming five-year anniversary celebration in partnership with Teehee’s Comedy Club, the downtown Des Moines based comedy venue on June 23rd.?

This momentous occasion promises to be an unforgettable night of comedy, charity and culture. Guests can look forward to an evening of side-splitting laughter and engaging entertainment by talented comedian, actress, writer, and dancer, Chastity Washington, from the esteemed Laugh Factory. To accommodate as many attendees as possible, there will be two shows: the first at 7pm and the second at 9:30pm for $20 for General Admission.

"This celebration is not just about us but about the community that has supported us along the way. We hope to bring joy, laughter, and unity to all who attend while continuing our mission to turn a daily ritual of drinking coffee into something bigger."

As BLK & Bold celebrates its five-year anniversary, the company remains dedicated to its mission of community engagement. With a steadfast commitment to social impact, the BLK & Bold team is proud to prioritize their community by donating the proceeds from this event to their esteemed initiative, "For Our Youth." This program works in collaboration with nonprofit organizations to provide support for children in underserved communities throughout the nation. Since its inception, BLK & Bold has consistently contributed 5% of its proceeds to this impactful program, which has garnered the support of 14 national pledge partners. By directing their resources towards “For Our Youth", BLK & Bold continues to make a tangible difference in the lives of young individuals and communities in need.
