One of the differences in this year's BLK BIZ SUMMIT is its focus on supporting local vendors and exhibitors. Last year the summit feature 20 exhibitors from various support organizations throughout the state. The 2023 summit provides the BLK BIZ Market within the summit for Black business owners to showcase their products and services, creating opportunities for attendees to invest in businesses within their own community.
One concept that Give it to the People? wants to explore is the concept of Meet a Black _______. The BLK Biz Summit will allow attendees to #MeetABlack Dentist, Test Prep Service, Accountant, Insurance Agent, Financial Institution, and many more businesses that join as vendors and service providers. The event brings together a diverse range of vendors and exhibitors representing various industries and sectors.
Attendees have the opportunity to explore a wide array of products, services, and innovations offered by Black entrepreneurs. From food, beverage, technology, and consulting, these vendors and exhibitors demonstrate the breadth of talent and creativity within the community. Engaging with these businesses not only offers unique and high-quality offerings but also contributes to the growth and sustainability of local enterprises.

In keeping with the ideals of Black Wall Street the BLK BIZ SUMMIT encourages Investing in local Black-owned businesses through purchases made at the Summit to offer a direct and positive impact on the economic empowerment of the community. By supporting these businesses, attendees help to create job opportunities, generate income, and stimulate economic growth within their own neighborhoods. This support can be transformative, enabling entrepreneurs to expand their operations, reach new markets, and further invest in their businesses, ultimately fostering self-sufficiency and wealth creation within the Black community.
Engaging with vendors and exhibitors at the BLK BIZ SUMMIT goes beyond a mere transaction. It offers an opportunity to build meaningful and long-lasting relationships. By establishing connections with these business owners, attendees can become advocates, repeat customers, and potential partners. Building such relationships fosters a sense of community, trust, and loyalty, which not only benefits the businesses, but also strengthens the fabric of the local entrepreneurial ecosystem fostering our theme of "FINANCIAL FREEDOM."
