Over my many years of working with nature, I've learned to look around me. I mean really look. Nature is a great teacher. And not just to those of us in the Arboricultural and Landscape industries. Business leaders, are you looking around you?

Sometimes our vision can be shrouded or obscured by the very things supposed to make our leadership more effective and our organizations more dynamic. The overwhelming resources at our disposal often do more to to blind us than enlighten us.

Like glare in our eyes during rush hour, it can render us vulnerable. Or worse.
