Blind Spots = Opportunities

Businesses usually come to me to grow.

Either grow their revenue and the owner's income - or - grow their team / size so the owner can stop 'wearing all the hats.'

But growth isn't always about 'more.'

It's usually about 'closer.'

Are you moving closer to your goals.?

Closer to the business you want to own.

And to get closer to your Ideal Business, you have to find those 'blind spots' and fix them.

To borrow an idea from my friend Brian Eisenberg, think of your business operations as a bucket with small holes.?

Every time you try to grow, it's like adding water and your poor or missing systems are the holes letting the water leave as soon as it's poured in.

Owners often try to focus on 'more leads' or 'more clients' and try to just outpace the losses, but it can't work long term...and here's why:

It's not just math.

It's frustrated clients or former clients leaving bad reviews that make growth forever more expensive & challenging moving forward.

It's disenchanted team members, leading to bad culture and higher turnover.

It's stress and overwhelm for you - making business ownership a lot less enjoyable than it should be.

So, sure, you can outrun the consequences of those blind spots for a while...but eventually the cost of growth becomes too high.

The challenges of ownership become too much.

Or...you can find those blind spots and fix them.

You can incrementally move toward having the business that you want...fix by fix.

Reviews become better.

Team members thrive.

Culture improves.

Referrals increase.

And your business starts looking more and more like the one you imagined when you started the business in the first place.

All by fixing those blind spots.
