Is this a blessing in disguise?

In my training sessions, I ask my participants to think of "One thing that they have wished for long to do but aren't able to". Go back to one month from now and guess what would have their answer been?
Yes! Spend quality time with family!
Now let me ask you the same question today, what would your answer be?
Restlessness has been strongly felt in the last two week, where staying at home has become a self imposed mandate. In times of this weirdness, where such a periodic has never ever been experienced before by us (and the following generation) it's almost impossible to just sit tight and keep coming up with ways to keep us occupied despite of being around your family! (I am not disregarding the #WFH fact for working professionals), but there are merits still!
Of course in today's times thanks to digitalisation to spend time has become easier but the hollowness that we feel inside for not doing enough still persists!
Thanks to social media, you have enough sources to see how are others being productive by either pursuing a hobby, a fitness routine or investing in self growth etc which is another pressure to handle as it raises a question that "why is it that we aren't as creative as others" and "what are we lacking" so on and so forth. Comparison kicks in!
Honestly speaking, time management and knowing your self are the only two big elephants in the room here.
We all are capable of equipping ourselves to the fullest and have more than enough will power to get going but you will have to acknowledge that while luckily you have time in hand, your laziness and lack of prioritization can eventually spoil the fun for you.
So in such a situation that we all are, this is the frame you gotta work on, and not feel bad that you aren't able to utilize this time effectively enough.
- Work on your planning and timing.
- Make a time table exactly like the ones we have in school n add few activities which you can do no matter wherever you go in whatever situation you are in and you don't need electricity or your phone's for it (apart from professional to do's)
- Keep your work desk neat & organized
- Take out time to learn & invest on self. There are enough courses available online.
- Enjoy the time out with your family, after-all this is what you always wished for right!
- Eat Healthy, remember "you become what you eat"
- Balance is the blockbuster, pre or post Covid 19
So keep reminding yourself that this is an opportunity and treat it like one. What if this quarantine makes you learn a better version of yourself.
Big Love & Stay Safe
Cheers
