#BLENDER for Artists? The strength to be a free #COMMUNITY - #STAYATHOME with...#OPENSOURCE
How many of you have given up on learning just installed Blender because of its graphical interface? a lot of you, i'm sure
So know that someone has long thought to help you! This is the strength of the #Blender family.
No money to spend, no expensive courses, just the desire to offer resources and always overcome the limits with the support of the "extended family" of users
Go #opensource Go #openBIM Go #open
and sorry if I won't write BIM too many times :)
for the widest and most creative audience possible
There is a lot of GURU, if you want, and you can find everything online, but you also find a great desire to share a success of a product made by users for users and it is a pleasure to also offer a VOLUNTARY contribution to the blender foundation, as many are doing.
An invitation to take advantage of this #COVID-19 period
> #stayathome and then:
What is Bforartists?
(if you don't want to read this article)
download and install https://www.bforartists.de/download/
And #Open yoour creativity
In this period of "Smartworking" or "forced confinement"
I send you some advice to make the most of the useful time and try to learn in this simplified way at least the rudiments, to have an opportunity to look into the free world of #OPENsource and #Blender in particular.
Therefore I do not intend to go on to review the product in detail but I will wait for your comments after trying it.
Let's start:
1) Totally Free Product!
2) Open source
3) Advanced graphic functionality
4) Multi-platform.
5) Sculpture
6) Texture mapping
7) Rendering
8) Animation
9) Programming
∞ And much more ...
The core of Bforartist project has #blender in its most updated versions, it's is similar to"lite" version and a
totally redesigned graphic interface
and very userfriendly.
Without going into the "technical" reviews, it can be said that it seems only the interface remember those of Cinema4d, but it is a radical change to learn a new product immediately and graphically.
it is a product that has no contractual, purchase, rental, etc ... but is the result of a community that has translated a need for many into a product that is evolving.
Stable version1 is based on Blender 2.79.
I still recommend the alpha version 2 based on the latest Blender 2.83,
you are an alpha so it may not be stable but the goal is also to use a "userfriendly" product to learn its generator which is not so "friendly".
Bforartists an excellent solution even if chosen as an alternative product to many commercial solutions, especially for those who are not an advanced modeler and need a simply usefull software, especially
for artists, graphic designers, and us technicians
and for all those who have given up just for the graphical interface that Blender has.
Open source is possible today even more than yesterday.
I have not told you that among the resources found
a complete and always updated pdf manual!
https://www.bforartists.de/bforartists-2-reference-manual/
And it is compatible with all blender plugins
In a next post we talk about blender plugins, for now I leave you only a sample link https://www.blendernation.com/2019/07/19/55-free-addons-for-blender-2-8-in-50-minutes- videos / where you can see some of the best known, which can be uploaded and used including
#BlenderBIM and #BlenderGIS.
all free? ?
- Yes totally
All reviewed very well in the intro of their site that I report below:
What is Bforartists?
Bforartists is a complete free and open source 3D suite to create 3D content. It offers you the full 3D art pipeline to create game graphics, prerendered movies and stills. From modeling, sculpting, texturing, rigging, animation, rendering, up to post processing.
Bforartists stands for Be For Artists. A reminder to develop for the user, not the programmer.
Bforartists is a fork of the popluar open source 3d software Blender. The primary goal of the Bforartists fork is to deliver a better graphical UI and a better usability. This means a complete switch in the useage philosophy. Away from the hotkey and speed centered useage. Towards a user friendly and intuitive graphical UI.
Note that Bforartists is fully functional. Every feature that works in Blender should also work in Bforartists. Note also, we are always searching for volunteers to get the development going. Every help is welcome.
For the more adventurous (Absolute) Blender is always the downloadable open and free solution, which I highly recommend .
Let's try and see what you can do in this period of "forced confinement"!
I await comments
and especially
Sharing, Sharing, Sharing,
of this information.
I hope I have been useful and have fun #OPENforever - go #OPEN
