The 5th edition of Blended. Time to try something new. That's why we're adapting to our audience preferences by adding new topics. Let us know what more information or interesting sources you want to see included. Get ready to be inspired!
Research
We often talk about Spaced Repetition to solidify learning. Most cited research on this topic is Hermann Ebbinghaus. However, there's also Spaced Learning, which shows that learning time and impact can be optimised. Here is a well known research report from Paul Kelley and Terry Whatson who pioneered the concept.
Practical tip
Use e-learning courses from existing publishers to create added value in your programs. Enrich your portfolio to create bundles of related topics. E.g. add business improvement content to your compliance courses. As a training provider you increase coverage and as a business you increase revenue.
Platform
Inmisceo supplies the leading Blended Learning platform for training providers. This next generation learning platform enables highly personalised training delivery. Features such as adaptivity, spaced repetition, online social learning are build in the platform, so you don't have to build it into your content.

Group news
Our colleague Paul Higgins is in Dublin, Ireland, speaking at the Futureland conference about blended learning strategy.
The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers have also booked Paul to speak at their conference on 30 March.
Associated Learning is launching the renewed Academy. The Academy enables associations to train their members. Many associations do not have the skills, resources or people to procure and maintain a learning platform and create the relevant course content. Associated Learning has invested in the infrastructure and content licensing so small to medium associations can offer their members training at an affordable price.
